A Letter to DAD

16 December 2004

Father, Thank You for being Who You are. You give me a reason to live. I just watched the testimony of Rachel Joy Scott who was killed at the Columbine tragedy. It really moved me.

I pray that this generation will live out your purposes and your plans. Lord, please bring to memory each day, that everyday you give me is a gift. I must no longer live it for myself. How I long to be changed & transformed by You. When will I live that abundant life that You spoke of in the bible?

God, if You do not make use of my life, then my life would be meaningless…. For me to live is Christ & to die is gain! Greater love has no man than this, that a man lays down his life for his friends.

Will I be faithful to You? Will I stand firm? I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me! Amen! Father! Father! Will I ever be counted worthy enough to finish the race & hear You say, "Well done, My good & faithful servant!"

Rain down on me! Rain down on me!

Here in Your presence I am free.

Pour down like rain, come & touch me again

Lord, let Your presence fall on me…

I will hold on to the hem of Your garment till Your power flows through me again!!!

In love with You & committed to love You,

Rhema
